Hello Fri service, sorry I've not been for a while. I just cant fit it in! That Derek works me too hard! :-)

The first thing to do before discussing this is to acknowlege God's acceptance of all because we can be caught in the trap of just slagging off other people. The second thing is to broaden it to both sexes.

It's all about who you are dressing for, when I came to St. Marks I had ripped jeans, trendy T-shirts, blond streaks in my hair whilst sucking in my stomach and tenceing my chest.

I still wear ripped jeans and might even have a trndy T-shirt or two. But my attitude has changed, I dont feel I have to be a super cool Christian youthworker anymore. Basically I was dressing for other people, where as now I'm dressing in clothes I like, are comfey in and feel confident in.

As for girls in short skirts, we should not judge (or look! haha) but they should ask themselves who they are dressin for, but change can only come about through conviction from God.

P.S. its so long because I should be doing an essay for my degree!

Well Tim not only wears ripped jeans he now sports the beginnings of a beard and moustache. A typical leader for St. Mark's though there is a few who don't sport them yet, and I hope some never do.
