Telling stories can be a very difficult thing to do, we feel we are not practised at it, we are no good at rememberng the detail, etc. etc. However, we all tell stories about allsorts of events in our lives, stories are powerful when personal, or with a personal interpretation. Telling stories from the bible from our own perspective gives fresh life, breath and meaning to them. It was a testimony to stroy telling when only a few weeks ago attendees of the Friday Service were sharing about their amazing experiences as they spent time dwelling with the story before they shared it on the Friday and also from the retelling and sharing. Ours is to spend time with God in the story, the Holy Spirit will give us the words to share...

Julie (our blogmistress) is too modest to admit she is telling this week's tale.
Meanwhile in case you missed it.. I added a comment to last week's blog in answer to the question about the "Fear of Isaac"
