Next week (27th) we're thinking about (and eating) food!
Give tea a miss and come and gorge yourself...
(please bring some to share too)
... but is that right? Isn't gluttony a deadly sin?
On the other hand that stuff about Jesus knocking at our doors ends with him coming in for a meal.
But fasting is meant to be an important spiritual discipline.
And yet one of the great images of heaven is a banquet
But lots of food is not good for you...
Yet Jesus used food and drink as a reminder of his precious death
Confused? Come and think about it with us. And eat.

Given that without food we die and ALL sin is deadly we are doomed unless we have hope, and that hope is JESUS :-)
