I was just about to post something along those lines myself. When I think about my favourite person/people its often the qualities that Jesus has that makes me love them eg trustworthy, dependability. I guess my close family and friends are at the top.
Not that I'm saying they are like Jesus but hmmmm He has some great qualities. My young children with their unconditional love for me and mine for them come first.
A quick feedback from Friday.... We talked about people that we have admired or who may have influenced us in our lives eg friends,teachers,leaders. It is ok to have role models as long as they are right role models. Humans often need another person to 'model' the right way of living...God became man to help us with this....and Paul encourages his readers to imitate him (1 Cor 4:16). So as Christians we should be role models for others.
